I bought this for my parent's computer and works really good. Now we don't need to pay a long distance call.
This quick cam has a great quality of picture, especially for such an affordable price.
When it came I had to install it twice just to see what it would do. It works OK but there are pitfalls. I was encouraged to buy a webcam by my stepdaughter. The documentation is scarce and hard to use for a neophyte like me.And one person I was using it with said it kept cutting out and I had to restart it many times.I don't think this technology is very mature yet.
It is fun to be able to talk face to face. She had a little trouble with the software installation, but all is well now. I bought one for myself and one for my friend who moved to Switzerland. The quality of the sound and picture are good.
Logitech has a real winner on their hands with this line of cameras. The privacy shade is a great feature, as is the the snapshot button. This webcam was much more than I expected. It was easy to set up, easy to configure and it has an incredible picture. I would recommend this as a first cam for anybody.
